Celebrate spring by making a beautiful fused glass keepsake! This family friendly workshop is an opportunity for anyone to try glass making "on the spot"!
Glass-fusing is a fun creative process that involves collaging smaller bits of glass onto a larger glass surface. Using these small pieces and other accessory glass, you'll create a beautiful mosaic of glass on your suncatcher blank. Your piece will be fired in a kiln where the pieces will melt a little bit, fusing together! Sign up for a 20 minute slot for each person that will be making a suncatcher. Walk in's will be accepted, but sign ups help us space everyone out and limit waiting!
The cost for fusing is $15 for a small piece, and $25 for suncatcher. You will pick out the size and shape piece you want to make when you arrive and pay for it at the event!
Pieces will be available for pick it up by Wednesday, March 27th. We are open Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 1:30 - 6 pm and Saturdays 12 - 5 pm. You can pick up your piece anytime after March 27th! (Please note: items not picked up after 30 days become property of BCGC and will be sold in our gallery to help fund future classes and educational endeavors.)
Ages 5+. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
