Using Color Bar in Glassblowing

Service Description

Unleash your creativity and learn how to use solid color bar in glassblowing in this one-day workshop. Class will cover how to prep color bar for pick up, pick up on a pipe or punty, color overlay, and creating gradations in color with bar. This class will focus on color application technique and not creating final blown shapes. Prerequisite: Intermediate glass blowing, or two years of glass blowing experience, or one year experience as a BCGC apprentice, or permission of instructor. Ages 18+ Please note: participants will be required to wear 'natural fiber clothing' when glassblowing. Cotton tshirts, jeans, etc. are recommended. Absolutely no leggings.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel please email us and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for 50% of class tuition will be issued. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show.
