Sandcasting
Service Description
BCGC needs to empty out our furnace to shut it off for the summer, and we need your help! In this family friendly workshop participants will create an impression in damp sand, and then our team of glass artists will ladle molten glass directly into the depression. Once the glass has cooled to 1000 degrees we will dig the glass out of the sand and put it in a kiln to cool slowly over three days. You may sign up for as many slots as you want, and we will ladle until the glass runs out.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please email us and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for 50% of class tuition will be issued. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show. You are responsible for wearing the appropriate attire. In order to glass blow, you have to wear all natural fibers (i.e. cotton, denim, etc.) Absolutely no leggings! Wearing improper attire will result in you being unable to glass blow. You may watch from a safe distance. No refunds will be given.
