Service Description
Help us celebrate turning the furnace back on and be one of the first ones to gather out of it! This event is a combination of celebration, potluck, a chance to connect with other blowers and a hot shop refresher. After the initial introductions, participants are invited to grab a pipe or punty and practice skills. Folks not actively working with glass can hang out, meet new people to blow with, and snack on yummy food. We would like everyone who plans on blowing in 2026-27 to attend at least the first 45 minutes. Loose schedule as follows: 1:00 meet and greet / hot shop rules and regs / BCGC policies refresher 1:30 pm Gathering tips 2:30 pm Bench skills 3:30 pm Putting in a bubble 4:00 hot shop ergonomics Ages: 16+ Prerequisites: Glassblowing apprentice, Intro to Glass Blowing, Seasons program

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please email us at Create@BCGCglass.org and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, no refund will be given. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show or if you stop attending a multi-day day course part of the way through.
