Continuing Glass Blowing - Encalmo
Service Description
Learn the venetian technique of Encalmo where two or more separate blown glass elements are joined into a single seamless object, creating distinct horizontal bands of color or pattern. We will learn how to make small supio cups for making pieces later, how to join pieces on the pipe, and how to make blanks to cold work and pick up at a later time. Prerequisites: Students must have completed Intro to Glass Blowing and/ or have one year of glass blowing experience and/or be a gaffer level in the apprenticeship program

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please email us at Create@BCGCglass.org and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, no refund will be given. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show or if you stop attending a multi-day day course part of the way through.
