Picking Up Cane
Service Description
Now that you have made some cane, learn what to do with it! This class will cover the basics of cane set ups, how to pick up cane on a bubble from a hot plate, and how to pick up cane on a collar from a pastorelli. Students will learn tricks for creating vessels, including what you can and cannot do with a cane set up. Students must provide their own cane, so they should have taken Cane I or have a stash of cane to work with. Prerequisite: Beginning glass blowing, or one year of glass blowing experience, or one year experience as a BCGC apprentice, or permission of instructor. Ages 18+

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel please email us at Create@BCGCglass.org and let us know. If you have to cancel last minute, call or text (812)345-2470. We do not offer cash refunds. Cancellations will receive a credit, valid for one year, that can be applied to other classes and events. If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, a credit for the full class tuition will be issued. If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled first class, no refund will be given. There will be no refund or credit if you are a no show or if you stop attending a multi-day day course part of the way through.
